Orlando's terrazzo market can expect to see terrazzo flooring to be installed for around $25 per sf. Of course this can vary based on the scope of the terrazzo installation, particularly size of the job and intricacy of the floor pattern. Suntrust Tower
Orlandos newest addition to the skyline. This light and spacious 28-story, mixed-use tower was Designed by Hunton Brady Installed by Alpine Terrazzo.
KPMG Training Center and Hotel
Located on a 55-acre site within Orlando’s Lake Nona Sports & Performance District, the Lakehouse boasts 350,000-sq.-ft. of training and classroom space, 800 guest rooms and 15,000-sq.-ft. of amenity space, including fitness and outdoor recreation areas. The environmentally friendly, LEED Silver certified facility also features a heritage center which highlights KPMG’s rich history and culture as the fastest growing Big Four professional services firms in the U.S. The KPMG Training Center and Hotel was designed by Gensler, constructed by DPR. This project features 20,000sf of white epoxy terrazzo taht was installed by David Allen Company.
Amway Center
The Amway Center become both the gem of the NBA and a breath of fresh air for a once-dormant corner of downtown Orlando. The arena’s response to technology, premium amenities and fan comforts have contributed to its reputation as one of the finest multipurpose venues in the country. Designed by Populous, constructed by Hunt this project features nearly 200,000sf of epoxy terrazzo installed by Artistic Surfaces.
Darden Headquarters
Perkins Will's design was kept to a single building of only three stories. This served two purposes: to encourage employees to take the stairs and to create a restrained design that the company’s customers could identify with. The building itself is 469,000 square feet of glass and steel. Its massive floor-to-ceiling window wall lets Florida’s warm light in while those looking outside have unobstructed views of our landscape design featuring native trees, manicured lawns, and a sprawling lake. The 20,000 sf of terrazzo was installed by Alpine Terrazzo.
Center for Healthy Living
This health center integrates the realms of fitness, medicine, and wellness. This installation demonstrates the versatility of epoxy terrazzo as an artistic medium, with six medallions in 30 colors, set to advantage against a muted floor and rich woodwork. Intricate strip work went into the medallions, which take inspiration from the Seven Dimensions of Wellness and are both striking art pieces and symbols to orient visitors and reinforce branding. Black PVC divider strips provide maximum contrast between the vibrant resin colors. The steps incorporating metal inlay lettering consist of two-piece precast terrazzo. Terrazzo was installed by David Allen Company.
Universal Studios Cabana Bay Beach Resort
Offers vibrant, retro style with rooms and suites brilliantly designed with amazing iconic architecture inspired by classic Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s. Terrazzo was used in several hundred guest rooms, the main lobby and food courts. Terrazzo was installed by Sigma Marble.
Nemours Children's Hospital Lake Nona
Designed by EYP, Nemours Children’s Hospital is also one of three Florida children’s hospitals to achieve LEED Gold certification. Its sustainable environment is based on green design and construction features that positively impact the broader community. The project features two tone terrazzo with heavy gauge divider strips that was installed by Artistic Surfaces.
Nasa Headquarters
This modern seven-story building utilized sustainable design practices and materials to meet US Green Building Council LEED Gold Certification. The terrazzo flooring was installed by Sigma Marble.
University of Florida Lake Nona Campus
The innovative LEED Platinum sustainable design strategies include daylight harvesting, sun-shading devices, chilled-beam technology, heat pump recovery for reheat, solar thermal and photovoltaic panels, green roofs and terrazzo flooring. The terrazzo flooring contained 65% post consumer recycled materials and was installed by Artistic Surfaces.
Orlando Health Osceola Emergency Department
This three-story, 60,000sf offsite emergency department includes more than 15 treatment rooms, an imaging department, ambulance bays and helipad. Terrazzo was installed by Steward Mellon Company.
Orlando Health Horizon West Emergency Department
This 80,000sf facility is located in the growing Horizon West planned community in West Orange County, FL. This building is 2 stories with a 16-bed Emergency Center on the first floor.
DPR Headquarters
Designed by Little the white on white terrazzo flooring was installed David Allen Company.
Orlando Airport APM Complex
The gateway to the South Terminal, the APM complex features over 80,000sf of epoxy terrazzo that was installed by Creative Terrazzo Systems.
Orlando Airport Art in Public Places
Scott Parsons designs are gardens: Welcoming Gardens. These gardens extend a warm welcoming gesture to each visitor to Orlando and central Florida through a rich visual tapestry which interweaves themes of space and technology, history, the health & science industries, agriculture, and eco-tourism/entertainment. The terrazzo designs provide a visual foretaste of what those coming to Orlando for work, vacation, study and research might see. 68 different colors of terrazzo was Installed by Alpine Terrazzo.

Orlando Airport South Terminal
At the Orlando International Airport will be another iconic project for the City of Orlando. The new world-class domestic and international airport terminal will boast 16 airline gates with flexible configurations to accommodate narrow-body, jumbo and super-jumbo aircraft. Featuring nearly 500,000sf of epoxy terrazzo being installed by David Allen Company.
Adventist Hospital Winter Park
The 320-bed Winter Park Memorial Hospital is building an $85 million patient bed tower that's opened in 2019. The new five-story Nicholson Pavilion, initially will have 80 private rooms, with 20 of them dedicated to intensive care patients, plus a new patient lobby, a surgical waiting room lobby and a post-anesthesia care unit. This award winning terrazzo was installed by Steward Mellon Company.
Seminole State Community College Building L and F
Buildings L and F form the central campus quad on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. This facility featured 12,000sf of multi-color epoxy terrazzo flooring installed by David Allen Company.
Glass Knife

Landmark Center Two
The Class A Office building was completed in 1985 and recently renovated in 2017. This award wining terrazzo installation was installed by David Allen Company.
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Student Center
the 177,000-sq.-ft student union building is an aeronautical athenaeum combining social learning spaces, an events center, club offices, student affairs offices, career services, dining, and the university library. A soaring triple-height commons area integrates the collaborative social and learning environments. 30,000sf of epoxy terrazzo was installed by David Allen Company.
Hardrock Hotel Daytona Beach
Among this installation’s assets are impressive color consistency, skillful use of aggregates, and a subtly elegant, timeless design. In a $40 million renovation, developers demolished and rebuilt the interior of this seven-story, 200-room oceanside resort. The anchoring design elements are intersecting circles in one-eighth-inch, waterjet-cut aluminum. A single white resin color was used throughout the project. A distinction in color was achieved by varying the aggregate size, and was accented with large mirror chips. The stairs were set over existing terrazzo. This award wining terrazzo was installed by Steward Mellon Company.
Harry Potter Universal Studios
Sigma Marble installed terrazzo in the Gringotts Bank exhibit. Many of the intricate patterns and designs were water jet cut from precast terrazzo. The design was made to look just like the movie.
Apple Store Florida Mall
This was apples first store to be updated with new micro terrazzo flooring which was installed by Artistic Surfaces.
Orange County Convention Center
This atrium lobby phase II renovation included upgrading the carpet floors to terrazzo. Sigma Marble installed the terrazzo flooring.
Mall at Millenia
The Mall at Millenia offers an extraordinary experience for those of us who call Orlando home or those visiting Orlando for business or pleasure. Terrazzo flooring was used in several areas of the facility such as the main atrium and food court.
The VUE at Lake Eola
A luxury high-rise tower in the desirable Downtown Orlando, FL. Residences feature stunning views of Lake Eola and the surrounding city from oversized windows. This award winning terrazzo was installed by David Allen Company.
Disney Store Orlando Airport
Now named Magic of Disney, the store is located on the east side of the airport. This terrazzo was installed by Steward Mellon Company.
Disney Art Animation Resort
Features 9 color epoxy terrazzo flooring installed by Creative Terrazzo Systems.
Florida Hospital Celebration Health
Designed by RLF and installed by David Allen Company. This red and black terrazzo was matched to the existing terrazzo.
University of Florida CTRB
The University of Florida Clinical Translational Research Building (CTRB) serves as the major catalyst for developing models and synergies in aging and geriatric medicine research and education, muscular dystrophy, diabetes, and health care across all Colleges and Departments at the University. Featuring 10,000 sf of epoxy terrazzo that was installed by Steward Mellon Company.
